Does every new installer need to get a username and password?

For the installers who need to manage chargers after installation, yes, they need it. 

For the installers who only assist with installation and others to manage, like you; they do not need it. We have a feature named Pre-configuration to support this situation.

So they can just do the installation and tell you the configuration information, and you enter the information via Pre-configuration on the partner portal
