For convenience, you may want to leave a cable plugged into your charge point at all times, turning it from a socketed charge point to tethered (i.e. a charge point with a cable that is permanantly attached. This means that even when the charge point isn't in use, the cable will be securely attached to the charge point, and cannot be removed other than by releasing it through the NexBlue Software

How to lock the lead in place

It's very easy to lock the charge lead in the charge point. First, plug the lead into the charge point that you plan to lock in place, then find the charge point in the myNexBlue App. Once in the App, look for the padlock symbol in the bottom left hand side, it should show as open. Tap this button to lock the cable in place, and tap again to release it at a later time. The cable will not successfully lock in place unless a cable is in the socket
