How to make a charge point tethered (lead stays plugged in)

For convenience, you may want to leave a cable plugged into your charge point at all times, turning it from a socketed charge point to tethered (i.e. a charge point with a cable that is permanantly attached. This means that even when the charge point isn't in use, the cable will be securely attached to the charge point, and cannot be removed, other than by releasing it through the NexBlue Software
Always locked mode
To set the charge point to "always locked" mode, follow the below instructions. This will ensure that the cable is held in place in the charge point, even when not plugged into a vehicle. To remove the cable, either change the setting back to "lock while charging", or press the padlock symbol for a one time release. If the "always locked" mode is still active, when a cable is plugged into the charge point again the padlock symbol will close and the cable will be locked in place.
