Hi, how can we help?

Exporting charging data

Why might you want to monitor charging data?

You might want to export your home EV charging data to better understand electricity usage and costs over time. By analyzing when and how much you charge at home, you can identify patterns, adjust your charging habits to align with cheaper electricity rates, and potentially reduce overall energy bills.

It can also help with tax deductions if you use your vehicle for business purposes or need to separate personal and business charging expenses. Additionally, keeping a record of home charging sessions can be useful for tracking battery health, planning for future energy needs, or integrating with solar systems and home energy management tools. Some people simply like having detailed records for personal knowledge, budgeting, or planning future upgrades to their home charging setup.

How to export data from myNexBlue App

To export the data, in the myNexBlue App navigate to the charge point for which the data is to be exported for, then tap the chart icon in the top left corner. Change the data field to "custom", amend the dates as required, then tap "export to file". This will then open up the share prompt, allowing you to choose whether to download the file to the device or share it via other means.

How to export data from User Portal

Navigate to the User Portal, found at my.nexblue.com and log in with the same credentials used for the myNexBlue App. Once in the portal, navigate to the Location that you want to export data for, then select the consumption tab. In this menu, you can select the time frame along with the report type, and export either to PDF, Excel, or Email.
