Charger Colours
Table of Contents
Why are the LED colours on a charge point helpful?
The LED colour and flashing patterns on the front of the charge point indictate the various charger statuses. If you usually rely on a regular schedule or RFID cards to charge your vehicle rather than using the app, the best way to alert you to the status of the charge points is via the actual unit. We have provided a breakdown of the various colours and patterns that the charge point may show below, and what needs to be done for each instance.
What do the colours mean, and what needs action?
Breathing Orange - Contact the installer of your charge point; they haven't commissioned the charge point fully.
Constant Orange - The charge point has been disabled, contact the installer of your charge point to reenable it if required.
Constant Blue - A cable is plugged into the charge point and vehicle, however charging has not yet commenced (usually the charge point is waiting for a schedule to begin).
Breathing Blue - The vehicle is successfully charging.
Constant White - No vehicle is plugged into the charge point, but the charge point is online.
Breathing White - No vehicle is plugged into the charge point, but the charge point is offline, attempt to connect the charge point to Wi-Fi using this guide.
Flashing Red or Constant Red - Contact your installer in order for them to diagnose the issue, or NexBlue customer support.
